Nyerere’s Official Visit to US 1963

J. F. Kennedy was a very close friend of Nyerere. They have been in touch for a little while before making this State Visit in the summer of 1963. Tanganyika was changing and so was US. The two men are no longer with us but the friendship between our two people still remains stronger than ever.
